Happy 60th Birthday dad! -8/8/08

27 days to go!

Guess its going to be less than 1 month to go before Baby Dax pops out... People around ask me whether am I excited? well... i can only say sometimes.... maybe because the pregnancy journey is quite long and tedious... it seems like i have been pregnant for 3 years.. hahahaaa...quite forget how does it feel to be not pregnant.. and looking forward to lead a normal unpregnant life =) another question: any joy in pregnancy? i do feel happy when Dax kicked and do all sorts of somersaults but of cos not when he decides to give me a good kick, it is real painful!! It is a very funny and cute feeling when he has little hiccups inside me.. it is quite stressful at times as sometimes i will be afraid that i eat the wrong food or do the wrong things that is not good for him...

Dax weighs 2.5Kg in his 33 weeks, up 1 kg when he was in his 30th week!! Now is 34th week and into the 35th week.... planning him to be out on the 18th September 2008 ( chinese lunar 8th month 19th Day) hopefully at noon time since the old wives tale is that the baby will lead a good life when born in the noon.. heheee..

Last trimester, last lap!!! this is the trimester that is full of backaches, reduced appetite, unable to sleep well at night, tired, clumsy, piles, infections.. one description : not easy! salute to all mothers and mothers- to -be....

glad that i am just in time for the new incentives under the govt policy.. 4 months maternity, baby bonus of $4000, reduction of 15 % taxable income, 6 days paid child care leave etc etc.. quite good perks to have a baby.. friends, make use of these incentives, go and make some babies!!! =)

2 years @ Citi

Today is exactly my 2nd year at citi.. time really flies, still remember when i first came in with a lot of uncertainty and risk taken.. glad that i have made the right move.. Its nice to work in IPB citi, where its like a big family.. colleagues are all very nice, helpful, talk cock and family-oriented.. can talk anything under the sun, from properties to bags to cars to market to even how to make babies.. hahaa... and there is definitely very healthy work life balance over here. I can leave office at 530pm without any worries.. only 5 days week.. can go for "reasonable" lunch break.. hahah... The environment is very pro-family too... My boss even lend me baby and preganancy books. So glad that they are encouraging us to set up family..with no prejudice against pregnant women..in fact supporting us to have babies... i can go on my maternity without much worries... =)

Market is getting bad.. Not only the stock market, the foreign exchange market too... will euro zone be the next to announce big losses linked to sub prime.... den australia/ new zealand and asia next?? well well....seems like this credit crunch is not that simple after all... got to tighten up the belt and ride through the storm.. wonder how long will the storm lasts.... glad that i am going on maternity sooooooon..........

ohh.. not forgetting the $8 million toto draw tomorrow.. must remember to buy.. who knows!! hehehee...
