A day @ the Zoo!!!

On Halloween day, we decided to go to zoo to visit Dax's favourite animals!!

The one and only family photo taken with the parrot... haa...

3 white tigers.. of which the very big and fat one is walking up and down, what a good timing, we manage to catch it walking up and down!!

Next, not forgetting the elephants... Dax has mastered the "elephant" pose very well now...and his T shirt is actually an elephant too!!

Dax's hair cut..

On Monday I was on leave and brought yeye nainai and daddy to Lei garden for the set lunch promotion! its so worth it!! Then we proceed on to get a haircut for Dax at nainai's BFF Aunty Juliet's shop at orchard point... wow... i am impressed!!! Baby is so good boy, stands still and let Aunty Juliet cuts hair.... Guess he likes her as nainai was saying that he refused to let other barber cut his hair few days ago....

Guess that shall be the place for Dax to cut hair from now on!! The hair cut is not too bad + it's only $5!!!!!!! wow....... value for money...

Baby is actually a vainpot.... he loves to look at mirror...

and of cos he loves the praises that Aunty Juliet keep singing to him... hahahaa.. look at the video to get what i mean..

Have always dream of having some water features at home, finally Cote has the space to allow one..

not too big and not too small, just nice at the little corner next to the balcony and in front of our神台, now 观音娘娘has some "pond view" and can listen to the peaceful

water flows...

We have trained Dax not to touch or meddle with the water features..

so far so good..

王杰 concert in S'pore

王杰, an idol since primary 3?? wow... that is donkey years ago when we were idolising this guy at Marine Terrace 2 room HDB flat... under the influence of my bros, i love his songs... (and i think i influence Yvonne to like him too) hahaa... I am amazed that i can still remember most of the lyrics of his songs after 20 years!!!! Gosh!!! How time flies..

My mandarin did have a not too bad foundation from looking at his lyrics and memorising them. I love a lot of his songs.. and not forgetting his "路" - that i will sing to myself during my cross country race, my 2.4km test, my gym time even till now - to keep me going... 路 has made me 2 times cross country champion and be the 1st to reach for 2.4km test run.. haa...

well, i did learn some philosophy in life from this "过气" (haa, he claimed to be one) idol....

红不骄, 骄者必败 - not to be complacent when u are doing well, those that are complacent will bound to fail.. I will always remember this saying at the back of my mind..

wow... don't really think he is that 过气.. look at the Q!!!

sadly, 20 years on, he grew fat and old.... haiizz... that's the reality of life...

Guess he is kinda of suffering from depression, he told the audience bout his failed relationships.. think he is a guy that will fall in love and out of love easily.. and he told us bout him not seeing his son for 10 years, even if he was to meet him on street, he might not be able to recognise him.. sound so sad.. he even cried singing that song...

all of us after the concert.. muz salute to 王杰 - his vocal is still as solid!!!! think it's quite hard to find that kind of voice in the singing industry nowadays....

2 more months......

Oh yesss... Another award for u, my darling boy! Still no incentive trip but was rewarded with none other than taka vouchers!!! Just in time for the taka sale.... Mummy took half day last friday and had a "hearty" shopping spree........ Yeah! It's really SHIOK!!!! Mummy is the top AVP and hope to move on to the next level next year... Hoping.........

October done, left with November and December...... 2 more months.......!! Mummy is going on Business trip from 24th to 29th Nov, Yeye, nai nai, daddy and u are going to follow mummy there!!! Yeah... maybe u all can stay at my colleagues' parents farmstay at Miaoli for 2 nights while mummy go and meet my Taichung clients.... hopefully it won't be raining then....

Jura coffee maker to reward myself!!! gonna buy Spinelli beans and make my own Latte!!! hmmm.. got to put in some effort to learn how to use this machine during this weekend!!

Nai Nai & Ah Ma Birthday celebrations...

Busy busy.. have long overdue posts still not up yet opsss....

We celebrated Mum's Lunar 61st birthday at Hey Hey steamboat... Nice!! The soup is delicious.... =)

My super mum and her favourite, Pandan cake!!! She still loves this cake most.. We were still saying that we started buying this Bengawan Solo Birthday cake when it was $18, now it has risen to almost $40!!! wow!!

We celebrated Mother's birthday at Prive... Nice ambience, food not too bad... but we waited too long for the food to be served.... guess we took about 3 hours to finish our lunch...

Dax thought that it's his birthday again.. hahaaa...

Update..

We have moved into our new house @ Cote D'Azur on 25th September 2010. That day is my mum's birthday and it is also Dax's chinese Birthday (Lunar 8th month day 18).. It rained heavily that day too.. We love it when it rain... Somehow, it always rain when we buy properties as well as move house.. At least for the last few rounds... Strangely, on the day we decide to buy the joint investment @ Guillermard Road, it didn't rain.. and true enough, the deal did not pull through.... hmm...

Exhausted and worn out... Have been very busy for these few months.. How i wish i can just sleep on my bed for 3 days 3 nights!! Last quarter Last lap!!!! Have been working soooo hard for the past 9 months, 3 more months... Hope I can be rewarded with some good stuff in January, crossing my fingers and praying hard... Almost everyone loves the new changes in the office.. Horray!! Life is so much rosier now... Love to reach office at the current timing, I can finish the whole set of straits times and finish checking my emails before starting work.. the feeling is great!!

We love our new place!!! Too tired to take photos.. we are almost done with moving in, maybe left 10% undone.. still unpacking and packing for the past few days... think need another 1 to 2 weeks for everything to be in order...
