Our Big 30 Trip!!

wohoo.. finally a trip that we had "planned" for, for the longest time... A compromise by all of us on the dates and venue- Cruise to Melacca on a 3D 2N on Royal Caribbean...!!

A rather disappointing cruise with alot of service lapses that made us really angry at times... Lucky we have each other!!! the power of sisterhood... well.. it was really an enjoyable and happy time for all of us!!! It really "relived" our secondary days when we would stay overnight in chalets, each others' houses and even the airports!! hahaa. time really flew fast during these 3 days!!

Though we had not much "secrets" on BGRs (level 1 to 10??!!!) and our lives have been very settled down unlike the past, we were glad to have each other for the past 17 years!!! We can talk everything under the sky and it is a great reliever to have listening ears as most of us are going through the same phases of lives together... =)

3 cheers to our Long Lived friendship- and so glad that all of us are putting in efforts to maintain this closeness =)

we had a surprise Hen's night party for our Miss Po!!! This also marks the end of Hen's night party for our group of sisters... we are all in the MRS Club!!!

we specially dedicated a song to Po and the singer on cruise actually sang for her!!

Dad and Ruien's birthday celebration!

It's dad and Ruien joint birthday celebration! This time round we went to The Square at Furama Riverfront. This is the place 2nd bro and SIL held their wedding back in isit 2001? I remember i was still in Uni and I did not know Luck yet.. hahaha.. wow, time flies...!!

Food is good.. It serves international cuisine and it is buffet style! There are satays and chilli crabs etc etc

congrats to mum and dad!! They have upgraded to a 5i room flat in Jalan Tenaga. It is just one street away from Jalan Damai, it is within walking distance... it is much cosier and bigger than Damai... They just gotten their keys on 26th July... oh boi, u can see their excitement over this new flat.. it's a corner flat and all the rooms don't face the corridor.. It has been quite newly done up, the seller renovated it bout 2 years + ago... All rooms including the living room is equipped with aircon...

Now waiting for reno quotes to start the renovation..

and check out the potential of these 2 flats.. wohhooo... an MRT in between them... we have check out the condo launch near Tenaga, EU Habitat... its by Far East.. the launch price is about 1100 psf... wohoooo! Bedok Interchange is undergoing massive renovation to convert itself into a big air condition interchange plus shopping mall and glad that Paya Lebar is building its way to be a business hub too..

Our Little children

Sooo Sweet!! It is so heart-warming to see these 4 little friends (Dax, Kylene, Karis and Giselle) playing together and enjoying each other company while their daddies and mummies gather...

Oh yeah.. how time flies, we are at our big 3 'O' this year..!!!

glad to welcome more mummies on board.. congrats to Pat!!! looking forward to see ur little one next year! so excited for u! =) and YX for the 2nd child coming in Oct, happy that it's a boy!!! =) Hope to hear more good news from the gals... @-@

The Big Apple!

A pleasant comment left behind by Dax's chinese teacher... Guess the chinese teacher loves him alot... told us during the meet parents session that Dax will take lead to sing and asks his classmates to sing along.. hahahaaa.. think this little boy is really very confident in his mandarin... good job!!

Dax's Sports day on May 20 2011

Long overdue post - It's Dax 1st sports day on May 20 2011.. The East Coast Chiltern house and the Forum Chiltern house held their combined sports day at Toa Payoh Stadium.. Daddy, Mummy, yeye, nainai, meimei and ah fa jiejie were all there to support him!!

i am happy with the development of Dax's motor skills.. he can really run and follow instructions to complete the race... (see the video below).. there are a few of his classmates that still need assistance, need the teachers to hold their hands to run together...

We also had a meet the teacher session soon after the sports day.. The 2 teachers actually sing praises of him and said that he is a very well behaved boy in class, he mixes around very well with everyone and he talks to everyone in class.. hahaha....

An expert in Skate-scooting!!

Dax is an expert in Skate scooting... I'm really amazed by his speed of picking up things at this age... Hmmm.. when i was 2 years +, i think i can't even speak proper words or maybe can't even walk/run steadily...

So proud of u, baby... u can hold conversations very well and can communicate fluently with us! well done! =)

Ah Fa's Birthday!!

It's Ah Fa's Birthday!! we treated her and the family to the Indonesian Restaurant at Parkway Parade...

She has been with us for 1.5 years... All i can say is that it is not an easy 1.5 years, we took these 1.5 years to iron all things out... glad that things are working well now and hope that it will stay this way!

She has been with us since Martaban days.. when she 1st came, her English was atrocious, she can't communicate with us at all.... she would get very gan keong in things that she did... Me and luck thought that we are really unlucky in getting maids..

well, glad that things are getting better now.. she told us that she wanted to stay for another 2 years and more.. we will be allowing her to go back to her hometown this August when we go for our Melbourne trip...

we gave her the motivation to earn and save $ to buy land and farm back home... we told her about setting objectives in life... and not being such an"easy ear" to be easily influenced with negative vibes... she says SGD3000 can buy a farm in Indonesia... wow... we told her to earn more money to buy land and farm to collect passive income for her family....

glad that she took it very well.. and of cos we told her that we will treat her like family member as long as she treats us like one....

OMG!! she is only 19 years old... she came when she was 17 years old!!!?!! gosh.. but good for her, in 10 years down the road, she will be a very rich zillionaire in Indonesia??? hahahaa

all of us... its quite nice to eat Indonesian food once in a while....

exactly 3 years, we bid goodbye to our Merc Baby... It has been a good 3 years.. He has served us very well.. Our 1st Continental car, he will always be the 1st continental car we had... The car that has watched Dax grown since day 1 till he is almost turning 3 years old in another 2 months +...

This Merc baby has served Master Chin Pin Jie very well... He has fetched Master Chin to and fro, safely and freely... thank you Merc Baby...

Dun play play..... This ultimate Driving machine is the till date I deemed as the "most Researched" purchase for us.. Dear has put in alot of effort, he did alot of comparisons and forum asking day and night, day and night... Almost everyone said that we had a very good deal... so proud of u dear.... this little white knight is truly a little baby of deardear.. this is the biggest CC car that he has driven... he says that it is a much bigger car to drive....need more time to get use to the handling... I'm sure this white knight will be well taken care of.....

BMW 5 series - 523i

super nice interior... I remember in 2007 when my Taiwanese cm ferry me using his 7 series BMW car back then, I was so impressed with the interior... It was such a "boss" car!!!

really love the interior... and trust me, the drive is really good... especially when u are seated in front... it is so comfortable that i don't feel like alighting from the car... haaa...

dear trades in its Rims immediately... it's a "guy things" to change Rims... My Male colleagues are also crazy about Rims... hmmmm... the women don't get it??

but i must admit that it looks nice with the new Rims...

Somehow, I will never forget the excitement I had when we collected our Red Mazda back in year 2004... the feeling was unforgettable and was hard to describe..I can still remember that i was really VERY excited and happy... Deep down i know that it will be hard to find a replacement for Mazda baby too... hahahaa... =b
