Face timing

How technology helps in communication.. Face-timing while on business trip. The kids love to look around my hotel room. And for Mei, she will ask me to show her the bath tub which she calls as "buttock" lol!!






Such cuties.. Long trip this round, finally going home tomorrow!!


Personal satisfaction achieved when boss of a very huge listed electrical appliances company told me that other banks are offering much better loan package and much easier terms to do. Yet he's still choose UOBPB cos of my service level. Touched* 感恩感恩!

And having to solve an ATM loss issue at 3am plus till 4am for my cm's daughter in USA... They only got my number, I'm like the hotline... Ah "sham" in the making.. But they r really touched and the relationship get stickier... :)

Darling has graduated! :)

Time flies, my little darling has grown up! Attended his graduation ceremony, tears welled at both of my eyes when I saw their graduation video and listening to his speech.





Such a brave boy. Having to deliver a full mandarin speech in front of a theatre filled with people. I must say that he had really done a good job! Well done, darling! Really proud of u!

Wonderful class of k2 blue whales. Nice classmates and wonderful mummies. Our group chat has been very active, nice to know all these parents too.

Another highlight is our little 宝贝. Her first performance on stage in front of so many people! Just 2 years old?!! I wonder what am I doing at 2 years old.. Probably still on pacifier and holding on to my pillow!





She performs so well for her segment!!! I still worried she will cry and want us to carry her when she see us among the audience. So proud of this little girl... Well done baby! No single tears at all...





But she didn't dance when it was the group performance which made us really amused... She has been practicing and dancing so well at home.. Haha..

Danelle starts PG! :)

2014- Danelle joins gor gor in Lorna Whiston! She's in PG (playgroup) while gor gor is in K2. The transition has been very smooth as I was clearing my garden leave back then.. Great 1 month break, when I got to ferry the 2 kids to and fro from school, as well as be there for Danelle in her first 3 days of school.


Really thankful to this helpful brother, who has helped me a lot when I ferry both kids to school alone by myself.


I'm glad I have chosen Lorna Whiston for Danelle too. Loves the way she has grown and learnt from the school.

She will be on full day school from next year when Dax goes P1. I'm sure she will be able to adapt fast and will certainly enjoy this fun learning journey :)

Bravest decision in 2013

The bravest decision I made end of 2013 was to leave Citi. It was a quick yet never easy decision. After all, this is the company witnessed and celebrated marriage, my 2 pregnancies and having my 2 wonderful kids and my 2 house shifting! Imagine marriage leave and 2 maternity leaves taken! How much wonderful memories citi has left for me... :)








During my 7 years stay with citi, I was promoted every year from a assistant manager to manager to AVP and finally to director. Within a short span of 4 years, it has rewarded and recognized me to the max level.. It has groomed me to talk like a professional banker, to be able to assess clients( doing KYC) and at the same time PR them. To be able to hold decent conversations with global high net worth clients. It has helped built the first pot of solid gold. Great friends, great colleagues, great bosses in Citi.








Thank you Citi, I'm definitely grateful to u. Too bad I lost all my farewell photos in my samsung mobile. :(

Many people must be wondering why I choose to leave such a comfort zone. Well.. No risk no gain.. Almost one year on, I looked back, I'm glad I had made the move. Definitely a progression now being a UOB private banker..happier and more fulfilling in my current role. :) glad that I took the plunge and thank you to my dear for always being so encouraging and supportive of all my moves.

Nevertheless, I'm always grateful to Citi- colleagues, bosses and friends there, for the lifetime skills u had imparted to me. Once again, thank u so much :)

A fulfilling and eventful 2014

Oh wow... It's such an eventful and fulfilling year that I have no time to write about it..

One of the greatest thing that gonna happen is we are going to be our own boss.. This idea has been toyed around since 2005? Oh well, with the help of 贵人, right time, right place, right capital, We are finally given a chance to do it!

Mei Mei suddenly becomes so "princess" her favourite Anna etc...

Wishing for the princess's hair to grow longer..

Am so impressed with her vocab and words.. While I was bathing, she was shouting at the door: mummy, r you done? While she's riding on the Barney ride, she will tell me: awhile more.... I'm truly impressed. 😊

New bonding activity!

Ok, I need to be more diligent on my posts. Cos all my photos are "stucked" inside my samsung phone, hence the updates just got stalled......:(






Wheeeeeeeeee... Thanks to our new sportsman in the family, my dear, he has begun to influence the whole family to embrace sports as bonding time. Thank you daddy for the nice girly bike, love at first sight and love it so much!

Actually I have been a fan of cycling since young, just that this activity is halted ever since kids are borned.






I'm glad that this has became a family activity!! Dax loves cycling too! He has just mastered his 2 wheels cycling within 2 lessons from yeye. Well done, baby, now I really agree that a child's balancing will be much better if he was to crawl for a longer time. Dax only learn to walk at 16 - 18 months.





Me and daddy will want to start some night cycling dates, after the kids KO on fri/ sat nights. Looking forward :)

I love this- a 40 years old Yamaha piano handed down 3 generations. According to nai nai, this is her 21 years old birthday gift from her mum!!!!! OMG!!! That made it older than anyone of us.!!








It costed $2400 40 years ago. According to yeye, a house cost $7200 back then.. Hmmmm.... A banker's instinct is of cos to buy house!! Haha.. Well, not everything can be measured by dollars and cents.. Only now, then we know is such a sentimental piece of item to our family! Hope this piano will be passed down from generations to generations!!

Nov 8 2014- Dax will join us at the sports Hub to go for his first Jay's concert ever!! He's practicing hard on his songs in the car everyday! Hee... Sweetie boy, love u.

Exams exams exams ..... exams after exams when u r in financial advisory role......

Glad to have this break for me to get through this dreadful paper... waiting patiently at BK below Lorna whiston for 12pm to pick Danelle and trying to stay focus on my CACS 2 paper...
The paper is on friday.... Arrghh... boring..thank god I had cleared my paper 1 earlier....... one more day....zzzzzzzzZzzZzz....

Dax's 5th birthday celebrations!

Dax is 5 this year! So fast, my little boy is gonna be in k2 soon! We asked him where he wants his birthday celebration to be, he told us he wants to be at jumperzillas at MBS... We tried to scout for this place for mei's 1st year old, but as it can accommodate only 60 people, we didnt consider this place in the end.




So with only 14 friends head count to be restricted, we can only invite a handful of kids, whom have age closer to Dax as the art work required them to be of certain age..




Not too bad, we have a big function room by ourselves and the whole playground outside to play with video games and iPads to entertain the bigger kids..
