Our Taiwan trip with Seng!!

Unlucky things start happening to us from the day we set off to Taiwan on 27th Dec.
Firstly, when Seng picked up from our house to go down to Xiong and Zhen ROM, there was a old man who bang into us.. Poor Felicia (Seng's integra), was scratched quite badly on the right hand side...
Secondly, we are being delayed of the direct flight to taipei via SQ.Instead we have to travel at a later time to Hongkong via SQ, then to take China Airline to Taipei from Hongkong...

Thirdly, when we reach the hotel at about 3am... The hotel was at maintenance.. It was darkness, we cant bathe and cant even see!!!!!

However, we believe that things happen for a reason......... hmmmm..... The flight we catch... we hope that things will happen from there!! *wink wink* Will update the blog if things really happen...

And also, we are upgraded to a much much bigger room for free!!! yeah!!!

Us on the first day, decided to have a hair cut together.... I spent NT3000 (to cut and straighten hair), Seng spent NT1800 (cut and color hair), Luck spent NT1480 (Scalp treatment)

Seng after the haircut... Where is Luck??? He is still not done yet... He spent the least, yet the time spent is the most..... heard that his hair was being washed for 8 times... wat a good deal for him!!!

We went up to Yang Ming Shan for a drink with the intention of going for a hot spring bath.... but the bath sucks!!! However, the scenary is nice and it is chilling up there......

We met up with Luck's cousin and her son, with her bringing us around to eat and shop......

ROM of Mr and Mrs No Tail Bear!!

They met each other in NTU and developed their love in Hall 2... He is an engineer and she is a teacher... They just bought their love nest at Bukit Panjang.. They are going to have their customary wedding in 2009..

Our first Run of 2008!

Cloud : Today after work, we did our first run of 2008!! only the 5 of us this time : Me, Jaime, Ivy, Joseph and Sean Hee.... We ran about 5 km from our office at Capital Square to near Kallang through Esplanade... it did relieve some kinda of stress off.. heheheee....

Yeah! hope our twice weekly run (every tues and thurs at 530pm) will continue on.. so that my resolution 7 will be achieved.....Lets get motivated on..... =)

Our HoneyMoon to South Africa

Our honeymoon is to South Africa - Johannesburg & Capetown. Was hoping to go Zimbabwe (my childhood dream), but there is no guided tour there... =( plus according to the tour guide, Zimbabwe and other ulu places of Africa have very high number of HIV -infected people. According to the local, every week, there is about 300,000 people dying of Aids.. scary rite........

South Africa is a very beautiful place... It has abundant resources : land, gold, diamonds etc etc.. just too bad it has not caught up as fast as the developed countries.. Nevertheless, it is an eye-opener trip and we feel so close to the mother nature!!! It is like walking into National Geographic and Animal Planet............

Post Wedding Seafood Treat!

The Post wedding seafood treat was at No Sign Board at East Coast. As that day was "Dong Zhi", some of the bros and sis have family gatherings..

Nevertheless, we have a sumptous meal (Yum yum!!) with pepper & Chilli crabs, Chilli Crayfish, Butter prawns etc etc.. All in all there are 9 dishes... The bill is quite shocking though, total of $1140 for 16 of us... =b

Hope u all have a great meal!! those that cant make it, paiseh ah... as that is the only available day in Dec...

Bye Bye 2007, welcome 2008!!!

Lets review what we have done in 2007:
1) Sold off our 1st private property, Bluwaters
2) Cloud : start running goal in Citibank
3) Bought our new nest, De Paradiso at Martaban road
4) Change our mazda 3 to Orange Honda Integra
5) To renovate our new house and to plan our wedding in less than 2 months concurrently
6) Start staying together in our new house
7) Visited Korea, South Africa and Taiwan together

New Resolutions for 2008:
1) To stay very updated with the financial news and be in a better position to advise clients on investments
2) Cloud : to read all letters more promptly and to clear bills earlier, not at the last minute
3) To love each other more each and every day
4) To do housework and try to enjoy the process
5) To work out the finances well and not to spend on unnecessary expenses
6) To spend more time with family, to go back to our parents' home for dinner at least once a week
7) To exercise regularly, at least twice a week

Our wishes for 2008:
World peace and may the subprime issues be resolved and everyday is a great day for investments!!!!
