Wow WOw!! Jay Chou's tickets are so damn HOT!!!! we tried online since the "bell" rings and the website simply hang for hours!!! Can't believe it, me and Eunice even sneak out and took a cab to sistic oulet @ Empress place (thinking that it is damn ulu so wont have people Q-ing) True enough, we are the 3rd in the Q @ 930am when the tickets will only start to be released at 10am... and guess what................ no one got the ticket there!!! OMG the system hang!! There are fans who came all the way from other outlets cos they are facing the same hang system!!!we even dashed into the office and took control of the computer... yet no one gets the tickets.. I guess the show is so hot that all computer systems are down as there are too many people trying to log in at the same time!! hahaa.. so funny... all of us are so angry and frustrated with the poor uncle who is just a stand in ticket seller....

LUCKILY......................

We are going to Taipei Arena to watch Jay Chou live in action!!!! Wow!!! June 11th 2010!!!!

Special thanks to Wen Wen who helped us to arrange booking via her taiwanese Comrades!!! It is sooOOOOo difficult to get the tickets!!!!!!!!

I am SooooOOOoo excited becos:
1) This is his 10 years into his singing career, he promised to have a GOOD one!!

2) We are watching his 1st kickstart show for "Jay Chou The Era Concert"!!!

3)it’s not just the that is a first for the Taipei Arena(台北小巨蛋), even the displays will be the biggest and fullest in the history of the Taipei Arena! The displays will be different from what the Taipei Arena has used in the past, the most that has been used is 1000 strips of LED, for Jay Chou’s first in the Taipei Arena he will make use of over 2000 strips of LED, the special thing is that in the action effects there will be a “360 floating solid render” and technique (the newest visual effect techniques)

4)Jay Chou wants to make the best concert no matter the cost! Just on the “360 floating solid render” has cost over NT$40 million, making this session of “Jay Chou The Era Concert” cost nearly 100 million yuan!

5)According to him, in order to reward the many fans who have supported him for 10 years, he will produce the diaoest world class effect! He will be writing himself into the records of the Taipei Arena! He will be bringing his bat-man car onto the stage!!!!!!!!!

Separation Anxiety...............

Our dearest Baby is experiencing separation anxiety...

Most common times for separation fears: eight months, twelve months and anywhere between 18 months to three years. Separation anxiety generally emerges around nine months of age and peaks around 12-24 months.

Many two-year-olds go through a phase when they prefer a particular parent/ grandparent. This can exhaust the desired parent/grandparent and make the other parent/grandparent feel unloved. Nai Nai and Mummy are currently the desired ones over YeYe and Daddy.. Poor YeYe, who used to bring BB down to see cat cat and wait for mummy and daddy to return from work got to stop this routine as BB simply refuse to leave house without Nai Nai..

BB is having running nose for 2 weeks already. Plus his playgroup doesn't allow caregiver to accompany him the first few days. We got to postpone his playgroup till he gets better. The 4 adults (Daddy + Mummy + YeYe + Nai Nai) are cracking our heads and trying new methods to make him get through this phase smoothly...

Well.... we just got to be patient and ride through this mini "storm" with our darling boy....

Supporting a child through periods of separation anxiety.

  • Positive experiences with caregivers, short times at first.
  • Help child become familiar with new surroundings and people before actually leaving the child there.
  • Rituals (bedtime and morning)
  • "Lovie" or "Cuddly" represents closeness to parents. If possible, allow the child to take the "Lovie" along.
  • Do not give in. Let the child know that he or she will be all right.
  • Remind the child of previous brave things he or she has done. Talk about how a fictional character might handle it.
  • Let child know, in words he or she can understand that you appreciate how distressing it must be to be separated from loved ones. Understanding and acceptance, but not excessive sympathy.
  • Never make fun of a child's separation distress. Do not scold child for it.
  • Do not bribe child to mask the distress. If you plan a special activity after you pick the child up, let it be unconditional.
  • Focus on the positive things that happened in daycare. Don't let them dwell on fears or imagination of what might happen.
  • Preparing the child--reading books about going to preschool, pretending about going on voyages or quests.
  • Make shopping for school supplies a special event just for that child.
  • Expect a child to be more tired and possibly more irritable than usual when he or she starts Kindergarten or First grade for the first few weeks.
  • When leaving, give a quick kiss and hug and cheerfully say goodbye.
  • Don't prolong your departure or come back several times.
  • Even if you feel that a strict teacher or a bully might be part of the problem, keep your child going to school while these problems are being handled.
  • If your child does stay home, do not make it an extra fun, gratifying day.
