Our trip together!!

This trip has been a busy trip for me, meeting cm from Taichung to Taipei, leaving father, mother, luck and baby for their own self entertainment in Taiwan.. didn't get to meet them for most of the days except for the last 2 days.. Guess they have become Taiwan Professionals liao, we even get a Taiwan SIM card for luck...hahaaa... =b

Thanks to yeye and nainai for taking so good care of Dax that i don't have to worry at all.. =)

The SK2 in the Taoyuan airport is cheaper by nearly half as compared to S'pore.... due to the favourable exchange rate!!! i am so manyi and happy!!!!!! guess the salesgirl is also very manyi that day... hahaaa...

It's December.. FINALLY!!!

Hurray!! December is finally here.....!! Done for the month, done for the year, time to go into hibernation again.. 12 times MEC, 12 months of perseverance & hard work, guess I deserve a good break!!! Gonna clear my compliance leave from 16th dec onwards..

Being in this financial advisory role for the past 7.5 years, I am amazed by the no. of UPs and DOWNs that i got to experience in this market. In 2003 when I first graduated from U, its was the SARS outbreak, then from 2004 to 2007, market was in a gradual uptrend. In 2007 Oct, China bubble burst. In 2008 Sep, Lehman crisis. In 2009, Citi almost got nationalised and talks of it going bankrupt was everywhere.. In 2010, european debt crisis + HK/China property clam down + Fed's QE 2............
well... nothing compared to the 百年一见 credit crisis and the 1st working day happened on the day I was giving birth to Dax...Still remember a client calling me at 11pm++ to ask me about his mutual funds.. And staying in Mount A in front of a TV watching the gold price going up and down by USD100 in minutes on the Channel newsasia.. And spending my confinement watching the market down by 7% to 10+% each day and how everyone is trying to "save the world"... Feeling the "heat" from office when i called back to get some updated info..
Come to think of it, was really touched when all my colleagues came with super STEAMED faces, having to fire-fight in the office.. all feeling really down but still congratulating me...

2nd Episode began when Dax was hospitalised on October 24th 2008 for UTI infections..I was heart broken and feeling..Citi was rumoured to be the next to fail.. wakaozz..... the stress was NO joke!! Guess Dax should be named as Dax Lehman Chin!!

Riding through the storm and staying on as a Citibanker even when the share price plunge below $1 and staying in this company during the darkest period of its life...witnessing how it had rebuild back its reputation and trust and how much it had transformed for the past 2 years...Being the largest bank employer in Spore and voted to be 1 of the best employer..Also especially when Singapore is going to be themain hub to be the "fuel" of growth and expansion in this company....

I can say i am proud to be a Citibanker..!!! well.... looking forward to receiving "the letter" in Jan,*crossing my finger* ... and hope that Huishan will join me on board too!!!! *Hoping*...

In the meanwhile.... it's R&R time!!!!!!!!! finally.... wohoooOOOoo..

Waterview

Waterview, a full condo with 696 units just located near to Temasek Poly.. With United college just a street away and the new MRT downtown line coming up, am confident that the rental yield will boost up the price..

We bought a 2 Bedroom with investment purpose. The price is almost like the price we bought our Martaban- it's a one for one exchange, in the meanwhile realising the profit of Martaban..

There are quite limited 2 bedroom with good view and facing.. Initially eyed the stack with pool and reservoir view, however the whole stack is being taken up by the associates of Developer.. But luckily we still can manage to choose the next best stack - a full pool view.. Its stack 16 and since we are the 1st to be given the priority to choose, guess what no. we chose?? Floor 8.. 16-8!!! (一路发).. hehehee.... a north-south facing.. great!

Our unit's floor plan - i like the layout.. very squarish and save alot of space... oh yah, it rained when dage/dasao and us are there to choose our units and it rained on the day we signed our option... yeah!!!! =)

Ah Tiong is getting married on 14th Nov 2010!!

Our Ms Tiong is getting married this sunday, 14th Nov 2010!! Feeling SOOOOOO excited for her!!!

Well, let me give some backgrounds on our friendship:

Yan is my old time 16 years buddy.. she's crazy, she's lame, she's kind hearted, she's simple, she's easily contented, she's loyal, she's true..... What can i say more... A friendship that i will always treasure for life...

Still remember how we will jio each other to study for our 'O's and "A"s.. still remember i used to camp at her aunty place to "study".. Thanks for some motivation back then, though stress, its kinda of fun too...

Still remember Yan, Po and me are supposed to work in City Plaza during our vacation as a sales promoter for some working class clothes. Being a Chao-Keng monster, I decided to quit after 2 days of standing for the whole day.. I calculate the salary which works out to be $3.40 per hour back then, nah.. not worth it for me.. Po quitted after taking 1 month salary, Yan is the only person that persevered through..

Still remember our vacation jobs during our "A"s holidays, I am always the one that jio her to quit as the payout is not worth the effort.. She will obliged without fail... Dun think we earn much during that period as we keep job-hop, but I will always remember the happy times we had back then..

An easily contented lady that find happiness in small little things, sometimes she has made me see things in different lights..

Sometimes her lameness will make me burst into laughters, guess I am just as lame.. hahahaa...

Thank you, Yan for being who u are... From the bottom of my heart, I wish you and Vansis ever lasting happiness forever and ever and ever and ever!!!

We had a surprise Hen's party for Yan.. knowing that she is someone that dislikes drinking, I suggested a cooking lesson for all of us.. where we can get together in a cosy place...
