My 31st birthday!

A belated post- my 31st birthday celebrations! Argh.. 31st....... Omg!

This birthday is a special one with Danelle @ week 33 in my tummy. Thank you to all my love ones for all the birthday gifts , ang Pows and all the wishes.. :)

On my birthday, Dax gave me a big fright when he was playing magic with daddy. This Lego pc got into his nose and was stuck inside no matter how we tried to get it out. We then rushed to east shore hospital.. Was so glad that there was no queue.. After several tries, doctor managed to get it out.. Really thankful that everything is ok...

31st march 2012- arrival of Danelle Chin

On 31st march 2012, mummy and daddy admitted into Gleneagles hospital at about 11am plus.. I'm glad to have chosen a afternoon slot for delivery, everything was in order and we had ample time to do all the necessary preparation, even had time for resting..




Gleneagles hospital single ward- overall, service was good and all the staff were very professional.. Everything was much in order and systematic.. Just wondering how come the total bill will add up to 10.5k, still waiting for the breakdown of the bill which we had yet to receive..

When I was pushed into the operation theatre, I was as anxious, excited, worried, happy, fearful, curious as the 1st time.. The thought of how meimei looks like, whether any double eye lids, hair, birth mark etc etc.. Her 1st cry touched me so much, we had been through together for the past 9.5 months, baby..




Weighing 3.36kg, at 50cm long, head circumference 34.5cm... Not too bad, thanks to durian? Haha.. Dr ang really made u come out at 3:31pm on 31st march!! Hahaa... Good job baby! U have been v cooperative..

The D- day!!!!

Dearest Danelle,
In about 16 hours, We will be able to see u after so many months!! U r still kicking happily inside mummy's tummy now.. How would u look like? A botak too? Hmm...
Thanks gal for accompanying mummy for the past 9.5 months.. Mummy puts on about 12 + kg, well done! Other than durians, u r generally a good gal. Just that it is not durian season and we got to crack our brain to find tasty durians.. Daddy is lucky.. Did not have to travel anywhere to satisfy our craving. U r easy, gardenia whole meal bread can satisfy u easily.. Towards the last week, mummy got to drink 2 cups of farmland milk, 1 cup of milo, 3 pcs of whole meal bread in order to sleep well at night..




Look how u hated the "skin" of the bread.. Haha
Gor gor has been quite hard to deal with these few weeks. He is so clingy on me, everything also "i wan mummy"..even when I go to toilet, he will wait outside the toilet for me. He wants me to accompany him to eat, drink milk and even watch him bathe.. He also wants me to fetch him to and fro the school ever since I'm on leave.. Worst thing is that he wants me to carry and I got to stand up to carry him.. Only daddy can stop his crankiness recently.. He got punished by standing at the naughty corner.. Well, old wives tale is saying that he felt threaten and insecure.
Mummy and daddy have prepared 2 gifts supposedly to be from u to give to ur gor gor..
Mummy is very sure gor gor will love u and dote on u when he get used to ur presence..
Let's pray hard for a smooth delivery and u be a healthy and happy baby..
Am glad that we have a lot of help at home. Thanks to nai nai and ye ye for their unconditioned love! We also have ah Fa Jie Jie and confinement lady fen Jie.. Plus daddy is on leave for the whole week..
Guess we will survive!!!! And look forward to have a great confinement.. Mummy is gonna be a good gal this time, really hope to nurse my health to tip top form..
