Taiwan Politics

The victory of Kuomintang Ma Ying-Jeou- isit going to change the fate of taiwan?? Taiwan, being one of the East Asian Tiger Economies, it was a powerhouse then. For the past 8 years, economy has become stagnant and wealth come to a standstill.....

will the new president change the fate?? how will the taiwan offshore market be impacted...... hmmmm.. we shall wait and see then.........

Xiaochin - the 1st trimester

On 26th Jan 2008, I tried the pregnancy kit and was tested "pregnant"!! was quite unbelievable and went on to a GP to try and was confirmed by the doctor....Overwhelmed, speechless, happy, lost, overjoyed, stressed, unbelievable, unthinkable..... a mixture of feelings keep "flying" around...
The beginning of life for Xiao Chin - Week 2 : just a little bean of about 13.5mm... its so amazing... was initially planning to see KK Hospital gynae afterall it is still the "Lao Zhi Hao", however it was very crowded over there and was having headache while waiting... We change over to Gleneagles Hospital under the care of Dr Chris Chong- He is very professional, has decided to stick with him..

Week 7 : XiaoChin is 1.55cm.. the first sign of heartbeat, we can see a little star "twinkling"



Week 10 - Xiaochin is 3.31cm... During the scan, xiaochin is "drumming", moving his hands to and fro...

Week 12 : Xiaochin is 6.28cm.. his head, stomach, legs, hands are formed.. its an extraordinary feeling when i saw Xiaochin.........

Down Syndrome test was tested by measuring the neck's length.. if it is less than 2cm, it is normal.. Xiaochin is 1.3cm, it is within the normal range..




Pregnancy is not an easy task. Feeling extremely fatigue and nausea, having morning, afternoon and night sickness, sometimes will just vomit straight after eating the food... the hormones change and make me just want to stay at home and dont feel like going out, feeling moody over nothing and listless to do things.. doctor says that after the 1st triamester should be better.. hoping for a change soon!!! nonetheless, it is worth it afterall..... =)


moving into the 2nd trimester, wondering how will it be like.... hmmmm.....

Just finish our dinner with Luck, when he wants to go down to buy more food... (was a bit guilty as i finish most of his char kway teow..... heehee) and did not suspect anything and was in my "lock-kok" t-shirt and shorts, and about to fall asleep on the sofa while watching tv... when suddenly all the lovely people appear singing the birthday song!! I was really surprise and did not expect it....

Promotion

Has been quite awhile not updating the blog, was busy resting and try to sleep at 10pm every night!!! wahahaha... thats why...................

Finally got the letter today! Congratulations to all Promotees.......... =)

Effective March, will be promoted from assistant Manager to Manager rank. Was still quite ok with the increment given the fact that there have been billions of writeoffs.... However, there are some who are not very satisfied... hmmmm... wat to do... we still have to move on and run on a bigger and heavier target this year..... Got to look long term yah......

Tai Sui - for the year of Rat

Tai Sui is also known as the Great Duke Jupiter. Although it is called the Great Duke Jupiter, it does not represent the actual planet Jupiter. Tai Sui is an intangible star which moves directly opposite of the planet Jupiter. When translated from Chinese, the Tai Sui is known as the Yearly God. Tai Sui is the most powerful "Earthly God". There is a total of 60 Tai Sui.

Each year, there would be a new Yearly God on duty looking after all matters on earth. His appointment would commence on the 1st solar term or called li chun, in Chinese. And the next would take over the task on the following li chun. In this Year of Earth Rat 2008, the Tai Sui is known as Ying-3 Ban-1.

Each year there will be some zodiac sign that has opposing forces with the Tai Sui. These zodiac sign are said to suffer some form of bad fortune. The negative impact differs from people to people depending on individual birth data. These zodiac sign can be determined base on the earthly branch of the year as it corresponds with the 12 Chinese zodiac sign. It can classified under offend, clash or conflict formation with the Tai Sui. See table below:

If the Tai Sui is disturbed, misfortune would befall on the residence such as injuries, financial losses, business failure or sudden illnesses. The extend of influence varies.

This Year of Rat 2008, the Tai Sui is located at 0 degree of the North. If the main entrance of a premise is located at the North sector, opening and closing of door is also considered as disturbing the Tai Sui.
