a day @ ECP!!

This morning, despite the slight drizzle before this, all of us still manage to reach ECP quite early...
Baby with the buggy!!! he got exactly 2 same presents for his 1 year old birthday - one from uncle seng and aunty angela, the other from uncle sean... Baby loves it!! He has been "driving" around in kim tian during the day time...

however, The "Tyre" drops out suddenly when we are pushing him around... kua kua...
Ah Gong, Ah ma, ye ye and Nai Nai are all there too!!!

In Memory of Michelle...

Today received the news from Sean that Michelle has passed away... So sad, so fast, so real.... Life is so fragile... The 34 years old lady that was perfectly fine before she discovered that she has blood disorder early this year... got to leave behind her parents, husband and 2 adorable kids... These 3 weeks of chemical treatments and all the testings should be very miserable for her...Her swellings should cause a lot of discomfort to her.. She had been in the coma for these few weeks.. Her medical bills of about 20 days have already chalked up to $400,000!!! maybe she doesnt want to be a burden to her family.... maybe it might be a relief to her...

Michelle had made me see life in another light and has made me realised 3 important things..

1) Treasure your love ones.. show ur appreciation to them.. Many a time, we will grumble this, grumble that, complaining on the stuff that we cant have, envying others of having better things.. We forgot that there are a lot of many other people struggling for their lives at this current moment... They just want a chance to live on... maybe we should slow down our pace and look at the love ones around us and show more care and concern to them...

2) Dont take things too hard..forgive and forget.. just do things that u and ur love ones want... enjoy and be happy!!

3) Insurance is very important in financial planning.. Especially Hospitalisation and Surgical plan.. Luck, me and Dax have just switch over to Aviva My Shield (that can be deducted from medisave) and bought the rider to cover the co-insurance too...This is really critical and essential with such hefty and rising medical cost in Spore..


Rest in Peace, Michelle... All of us will remember you..

Baby Dax @ 12 months on......

Now is the super fun period.. Baby will not fail to amuse us everyday.. He learns alot of new tricks and stuns every now and then.. He will close his eyes when we say "close ur eyes", grove and dance when we sing "elephant" or any songs that he likes, use his fingers to point to direct us.. play peek a boo with us..put his arms up when we say "arms up".. put his hands up when we shout "hooray". he will want us to be around and has been trying to call us by names to catch our attention.. everyday we will look forward to seeing him in the evening!!

This 开心果 makes people really 开心...

Baby's 1st passport!! The 3 of us are going taiwan together with ye ye and nai nai in Nov!! Yipee!!! Have always wanted to bring baby there..we got to go to 行天宮 and龍山寺 together.. its a promise by mummy to bring u there when u are out!! So glad that his 1st overseas trip is to Taiwan... He is sort of "affiliated" with Taiwan.. ~ assumed by his mummy.. =b

Poor baby suffered from fever during the last week of Sep.. He develops viral rashes thereafter.. Doctor says that the viral rashes are developed becos his body managed to "win the war" over the fever... It subsided in 3 to 5 days time.. poor baby during this period got to take medicine everyday... he doesnt have much appetite for milk or food.... poor thing.. so glad that he has recovered!!! This poor boy doesnt get to go out during these 2 weeks.... =(

at ION yesterday... He loves this place...!!. there are so many levels and so many colorful things for him to see!!! He loves to go out shopping!!
